 How You Can Help 1. For each state we would like a list of Veterinarians located in your area who treat Sugar Gliders.
This should include - Vets Name, Address, and Phone #
Please post this information in our Veterinarians Forum, under the appropriate Region/State.
2. The Name and Address of any place within your area where Sugar Gliders have been or are scheduled to be sold.
Please post this information in our Trade Show, Flea Market, and Fair Location Forum, under the appropriate Region/State.
3. If have picked up your sugar glider or know of someone who has done so at a Hotel/Motel, please post the name, address, and phone number, in the Hotel/Motel Forum, under the appropriate Region/State.
4. If you know of someone who has purchased a sugar glider from a Mill Breeder that has experienced medical problems, or if you have had the same experience, please PM one of the Administrators or Moderators with the information.
5. Hand out as many Fliers that you can. Post some in your post-office, grocery store, department store, public bulletin boards, Vets office, clinics, any place that permits. This will bring awareness to people who have purchased sugar gliders a place where they can go for assistance, as well as help educate those who are considering purchasing them. You will find fliers and informational handout sheets in our Handout Forum for you to print out and use.

Re: How You Can Help It would also be really helpful if, when posting veterinarians, you would also post whether they have emergency hours and if they are on call or not. Although there are many vets that will treat gliders, many do not have on call vets or emergency hours.
